I am currently typing this at my uncle's house because my computer at home is refusing to work. My cousin is in the other room - he plays the drums, and has been playing an Arctic Monkeys album at full blast for about the last half an hour. He is drumming along with it, and he obviously thinks I can't hear him, because he is thanking the crowd.
Ahem.

NME Cool List. Hmmm.
@ 2007-11-08 – 21:32:11
I find the whole thing pretty ridiculous. But nevertheless, intriguing. It's pretty amusing I have to admit, especially when that prat from Gallows (urgh, Gallows) has been hailed "coolest person on the planet". So when my friend Lauren came into school today with the latest issue containing the (dreaded) cool list I couldn't help having a quick flick through.
And what did I find? Well, it didn't suprise me, not even a little bit - all the usual suspects; Pete Doherty, Karen O, Meg White - and some "new entries" from the life-altering musical extrodinaires such as...uh, Kate Nash.
The reasonings is my favourite part. I love reading those things - why is this person cool, what do they think is cool, is this cool so on and so forth. The main question they asked those listed was "is wearing sunglasses indoors cool?". Controversial.
