I went to see Kaiser Chiefs last night. I know. You try to appear all alternative and then you go and do something like that. Oh well. I like Kaiser Chiefs. Five lads with guitars. Shocking.
But I had a pretty good time, despite them being the most average band I like. The crowd was the biggest I've seen so far, and everyone was squashed like sardines in a can. I was about three people from the front, sadly stood next to two Irish girls who were blind drunk and I ended up holding them up until Mystery Jets came on, at which point I gave them a shove and never saw them again. I really enjoyed their set, though I have to say I miss Henry. They played a new song which made me really excited about their new material called "Hideaway".
With the Kaiser Chiefs being so big it was really great seeing everyone yelling the lyrics in way of the stage and everyone bouncing about. I've been to too many gigs where the most movement was people shuffling around and maybe mumbling the lyrics to the most well-known song. So yeah, that was pretty cool to be in that kind of atmosphere. And I didn't get kicked in the head! Oh what fun.

Hi Lea, you don't sound like a crazy person at all - try reading through this blog, then you'll read what a true crazy person sounds like.
I think I do have a livejournal account from a while back but I can't recall what it was...I was thinking of setting one up actually, so I can go and stir it up on some my chemical romance forums. I like to ruin it for everyone

Hello!

This will probably sound crazy. I was googling something ... i can't remember what (i think it was late of the pier) - and your blog came up.
I just wondered if you had a livejournal account - i had a quick read and i'd love to add you to my friends.
Ohmygod i sound like a crazy person. But i think we write about similar things. And it's nice to have someone who writes about music and gigs and thoughts on musicians and gigs that i like too.
(I really do sound like a crazyperson don't I?!)
Anyway.. yes. If you do have a livejournal then i'd like to be your friend.
If you don't, i guess that is all. hahaha.
I'm lea btw.
